Restaurant Onder de Linden was originally a Stins, an aristocratic dwelling house.
It was first used as an inn by Jan Sauerlant in 1795.
Now, 200 years later, it still has the same function.
Since then, the premises have undergone many changes, making Restaurant Onder de Linden one of the most attractive locations in Sneek.

The original, characteristic step gable has remained completely intact and presents the origins in their full glory.
